Dr Joe Molete (PhD, MBA) – popularly known as Dr Joe – is a coach, strategist and innovation expert.  Dr Joe has 2 portfolio of passions. His 1^st portfolio of passion includes working as an inspirational speaker and a life coach.  He founded the Dr Joe High Performance Academy in 2013 to coach leaders. His flagship programs include “Finding Your Sweet Spot”, a coaching program which supports leaders to become their authentic self who live the life they are born for. Dr Joe is also an accredited facilitator, assessor and moderator; and has authored 2 books. Dr Joe’s 2nd portfolio of passion includes more than over twenty years of experience assisting technology entrepreneurs in the research, protection of IP and commercialisation of inventions. He has supported scientists and technology entrepreneurs in more than eight companies and has served on boards of various start-up companies. He held positions such as CEO at BioPAD, Executive Director at CSIR, Executive Director at VUT Science and Technology Park and he is currently Campus Director for the Midland Campuses for Durban University of Technology.  Dr Joe’s qualifications include an MBA from The University of Cape Town, Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Penn State University and an Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School.
